September 2016

September brought another up-and-down season of Razorback football. Even though it was the summer that would never end, the weather on opening game day was very pleasant. We saw Abby on Labor Day weekend for the first time in a while, and she couldn't believe that Nate had outgrown her!

With the long weekend, we decided to go for a hike on the not-well-known and not-well-marked trail at Mount Kessler. Over six miles and just as many snakes later, we made it back to the vehicles.

After training hard all summer, these guys had their first cross country meet September 10th.

That evening, Ashley and this group of friends attended their first Little Rock Junior Cotillion. I think they liked getting dressed up and going to eat afterwards more than the actual event.

We were so glad that Lydia got join our carpool group from Roberts!

September 17th was Raymond and Elisha's wedding. It was just a great day for a great couple!

The next weekend, another cotillion and another cross country meet!

In what has to be the craziest election year of my lifetime, we were so glad to support this candidate for President! In addition to the poster, she had to write an essay and give a speech. We were so proud of her for running and for being elected by her school that has nearly 1000 kids!
